Kroger 1/24/10

I did the best I have ever done at Kroger today. They were having their Mega Event where you get $5.00 off when you purchase 10 participating items. I got the following:
6 bags Quaker Rice Cakes - I had 6 $0.75 off coupons
4 Finish Gelpacks (dishwasher detergent) - I had 4 $2.50 off coupons
2 Pampers Wipes (64 Count) - I didn't have wipes coupons on me but I had to use up $4.14 in overage because the cashier was freaked out, and with two munchkins in diapers I can always use wipes!
My total was $0.12
I was thrilled!!

Walgreens and Kroger 12-31-09

12/31/09 I made two shopping trips.
Trip 1:Walgreens to take advantage of the Register Rewards (RR) deal on Pampers Diapers (not pictured). $10.00 for each Jumbo package. Plus get $3.50 in RR when you buy two packages. I had 4 save $2.00 on any size Pampers. I broke my purchases up into two transactions.
Transaction 1 - 2 packages size 1 Pampers Swaddlers $20.00, minus 2 $2.00 off coupons total spent $17.40. I got back one RR for $3.50
Transaction 2 - 2 packages size 2 Pampers Swaddlers $20.00, minus 2 $2.00 off coupons total spent $17.40. I got back one RR for $3.50
The register wouldn’t let me use my first $3.50 RR and the two $2.00 off coupons for my second transaction so I opted to hold onto both my RR since my $2.00 off coupons expire today.

Trip 2:Kroger to take advantage of the Proctor & Gamble deals.

Additional Coupons: Buy $25.00 in participating Proctor & Gamble products get $5.00 off instantly using your Kroger Plus Card. Two $3.50 Register Rewards from my earlier trip to Walgreens.
Total $54.56 Savings $42.46 (46 Percent)
I did have two e-coupons that didn’t work totaling $4.50 I am in contact with P&G e-saver to see how they are going to remedy this situation.
